Skippers Retreat is our house. We look after it, we answer the emails, and we are ten minutes away if something needs fixing.
This is the one page that should be entirely in your own words. How you came to build the house, why Hamble, why the Mediterranean design. Three short paragraphs is plenty.
It matters more than it looks: it separates you from the other hot-tub lets in the search results, and it is what makes someone feel safe sending a four-figure deposit to a website they have never used.
Your listings are inconsistent about this and I have not guessed. Airbnb says hosted by Lesley; guest reviews thank Vicky — "the lady that manages the rental" — and one mentions Vicky & Pam. Reviewers plainly value whoever greets them: hospitality is the single most-mentioned theme across your reviews.
Tell me who owns the house, who meets guests, and which names you want on the site. Naming the actual people is a real advantage over an agency listing — but only if it is accurate.

We booked a weekend for a group of friends going sailing. The location is fantastic just 5 mins walk into Hamble with various pubs, shops and cafes. The 4 beds and 4 en-suite baths are set up really well for large groups sharing ensuring lots of privacy. The roof top views down to the Marina and the river are calming and serene with the light bouncing off the water in the early mornings. We loved our weekend and thought this was one of the best houses we have rented anywhere.
What an amazing house, beautifully furnished and appointed right down to the soft towels and well provisioned kitchen. The upper living area space is fantastic with a lovely view of the Marina and River beyond, with good entertaining spaces, even the Egg BBQ is special.
The Skippers Retreat was a beautiful home with stunning harbour views — the photos really don’t do it justice. The location is fantastic, situated in a lovely part of Hamble and within easy walking distance of the village, waterfront, and excellent local restaurants. It was the perfect base for a short break away, combining peaceful surroundings with easy access to everything the area has to offer.
Premium stay, the house was spotless and feels very premium. Very tidy and clean house, great hot tub which easily fits 4-5 people at once. Would certainly recommend.

Amazing stay. Very prestige accommodation and it was squeaky clean, worth every penny. The host was amazing as well. Very helpful.
The property was amazing, very spacious with the bedrooms and toilets all downstairs and the kitchen and living room area all on the upstairs. I loved the modern interior design, and it was beautiful to overlook the area from the upstairs balcony. We were kindly greeted and shown around the property and how it all works, given local recommendations and such.
